How to Enter
Participant may enter for a chance to win prizes two ways:
- Use #stoutsandstories
Participant may share his/her experience at a library beer event or tap party through written word or a photograph and the use of #stoutsandstories, or - Complete Weekly Social Media Contests
Participant may follow Jefferson County Public Library (“JCPL”) on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or Pinterest and complete weekly contests announced on Monday. There will be one contest per social media platform per week from Sunday, October 1 through Wednesday, November 15.
Eligibility
Open to participants 21 years of age or older.
Entries
- Using #stoutsandstories
Participant may attend as many library beer events and tap parties as he/she would like and share his/her experience with JCPL, through written word and/or photographs and must use #stoutsandstories. Each time participant shares he/she will earn one entry. Entries submitted at library beer events or tap parties that occur on Friday or Saturday will be counted in the following week's prize drawing. - Weekly Social Media Contests
Weekly contests are limited to one entry per participant per social media platform. Entries may be submitted between Monday morning and 12 p.m. Friday. Multiple weekly contest entries from the same participant on one social media platform will be eliminated. Only one account per participant may be used on each social media platform. The creation of multiple accounts on one social media platform is strongly forbidden. JCPL will monitor for fraudulent activities (e.g., the creation of fake social media accounts) and reserves the right to disqualify participants.
JCPL reserves the right to remove inappropriate posts and disqualify entries that may be deemed offensive, violent, hateful, abusive or obscene.
Prizes
Winner of weekly prize will receive beer swag. Beer swag may be items such as koozies, bottle openers and pint glasses. Winner of the grand prize will receive one annual Colorado State Park pass. Each prize is awarded “as is.” No transfer or substitution of a prize is permitted. JCPL reserves the right to substitute prize for an item of equal or greater value in the event an advertised prize is unavailable.
Condition of Participation
Participants hereby grant permission to JCPL to use his/her submission (including first name and photographs) for editorial, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation. Participant entries becomes the property of JCPL and content may be used on JCPL’s website, jeffcolibrary.org, its social media channels, and other marketing and promotional materials. By accepting prize (weekly prize and grand prize), participants agree to hold JCPL, its officers, directors and employees harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the contest or acceptance or use of the prize.
Winner Selection
Weekly winners will be drawn randomly from participants who complete weekly contests, submit an entry using #stoutsandstories, and, in the some instances, where participants submit an entry from a library beer event or tap party held over the weekend every Friday afternoon. Winners can only win one weekly drawing. A random drawing among all participants for the grand prize will occur November 16.
Winner Announcement and Prize Distribution
Winner will be announced publicly on JCPL’s social media platforms every Monday. Winner will have one month to pick up prize. Proof of identity and age will be required upon prize acceptance. Prize acceptance will occur at the library of the patron’s choice.
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. By participating in weekly contests and using #stoutsandstories, to enter into prize drawings, each participant agrees to the complete release of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest for the contest’s entirety, as well as the official rules stated above.
